The concept of making a global impact for Christ is not a new one for Audio Adrenaline members Mark Stuart, Will McGinniss, Ben Cissell and Tyler Burkum. While the band's focus has always touched on themes of missions and outreach, Audio Adrenaline has never been more aggressive in communicating that message than they are now, with the release of a brand new album, Worldwide.

What is Summer in the Son?

Summer in the Son, or SITS, is a week long event for those entering the 9th grade through those who have just graduated high school. It kicks off Sunday night and from there it is a fast paced world of worship and learning. Our goal is to not only bring kids and adults to Christ and strengthen their relationship with Christ, but to strengthen their relationships with each other. We want to help create an atmosphere that helps you as youth professionals add to the core of your group, and help maintain a support system when you go home.

What is Jr High Challenge?

Jr High Challenge, or JHC, is also a week long event. JHC is for those entering 6th-8th grade. Just like SITS it starts Sunday night, but is more geared to the likes and wants of a Jr High student. JHC is also a great place to strengthen your group as they grow themselves through worship and speaking. It is one of the only week long Jr High events in the country.

How do I pre-register?

There are a few ways to pre-register. You can do it strictly online with a credit card. You can print off forms from the website and send in a check or pay with credit card.

What is the pre-registration deadline?

For SITS it's May 19, 2008 and for JHC it's June 2, 2008.

What if my number of registrants changes?

You can either contact the Special Events office or fill out the form for adding numbers and send or fax it to us. Until there is verification, we can not guarantee that your additions are final.

Where do we sleep?

You will be sleeping in the Kentucky Christian University dorms. You will need to bring your own bedding.

Where do we eat?

As part of your registration fee, you will eat in the KCU cafeteria. There are many places to eat in town also(Please do NOT cross Carol Malone Blvd, the road directly in front of campus).

Do we have to participate in everything?

We highly encourage that you have all of your group at main worship times, and participate in workshops. We don't patrol, so you are solely responsible for your group. Remember that you paid to attend everything.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?

If there is a problem, you can stop by or call the Special Events office located in upstairs Lusby Center(where you will register). Or, find any of our staff members. They will all be wearing the same shirt with STAFF on the back.

What is there to do in our down time?

There are many places to visit off campus such as Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Ashland, KY and Huntington, WV. There will be maps and lists of activities, bowling, movie theatres, etc, in the book you will get when you arrive and register.

What is the Youth Minister's Round Table?

The Youth Minister's Round Table is a tool that was designed specifically for Youth Professionals. It is a time to come together as Youth Ministers to encourage one another, seek advice and talk about what is going on in ministry today. We believe that is extremely important to do all we can to equip and encourage Youth ministers. You work very hard for your students and their families, and we would like to return the favor.

Can you accommodate large groups?

We can accommodate groups of all sizes. We typically accommodate groups of between 2 youth and 175 youth. We understand that large groups need special attention in order to handle there specific needs and are willing to do what it takes to take care of your group.

Can I bring small children?

There are no sleeping or daycare arrangements available for small children. We advise you to avoid bringing small children as this has a tendency to be a distraction to other participants in the conference.

How do we get T-Shirts?

In order to accommodate short notice changes in registration. SITS and JHC will be taking t-shirt orders on day of registration. There will be a downloadable form online or you can simply fill us in when you arrive. Please do not try to communicate sizes before the day of registration. Your t-shirts will be available on Thursday of your conference week.

What about my students' medicines?

You as the group's leader, will need to take responsibility for the administration of any medicines to your student's. If you need refrigeration, we advise you to bring a dorm size refrigerator. If that is not possible please contact us and we will take care of your needs.
